The Model Drops By!!
Lionel, the Great Horned Owl we’re painting, dropped by on Friday afternoon as a
surprise for the class.
We were right in the middle of a small drawing of his eyes (practice, before we
started the larger painting) and everyone was tickled when he was brought right
into the classroom!

Lionel is wonderful. I have never seen an owl in person. I am sure it was a treat for the class!

Oh, that would’ve been so much fun! I’m sure it’s a real treat to see the actual model that you’re painting.

Oh….Lionel is gorgeous! What a handsome subject to paint! I am sure everyone had a wonderful time and, more importantly, learned a great deal too.

Oh – what a beautiful model! Owls are so very beautiful – and I have to say, the starts are already wonderful!
